Playing silly games [spilletmedbyer.dk]
Yesterday I spent about ten minutes assembling the map of the s-trains in this nice mashup game. It gave me an urge to do something silly and utterly pointless myself, and the result is stunning: Spilletmedbyer.dk
If you clicked the link, you’d know exactly what I did: Something Google Maps and a bit of data, and you can now guess the location of Danish cities and towns. You’re welcome.

We’re waiting for other geographies than Denmark…

Sure, there are basically three ways of expanding:
- Same game, other localies: spelatmedbyer.se or thegamewithcities.com
- More hints such as “Located in Hedensted Kommune” or “12 km from Ejer Bavnehøj”
- An international game with captials and other big cities.
I’m not too sure about the right direction.
The problem with these things are always in the details: Getting to where I am now took me about five hours (mostly spent hunting for data). Either of these expansions will likely take days…

“leaving well enough alone” is always a viable strategy
